In a public care home, people with sore joints and old injuries could not sit for long on one generic pad.

I watched how they actually sat, drew an adjustable 3-D printed cushion, and got a prototype made.

It stayed a prototype. Cost, process, and the hours I had did not add up to something the home could reorder.

A habit I still use: go to the room first. The later class, and the fall-detection paper, started from that room, not from a topic list.
